  • FOUNDER AND CFI

    Bailey began her aviation journey at the age of 12, quickly developing a deep passion for flying that led her to pursue it as a career. She earned her private pilot fixed-wing license at just 17 years old. After completing high school, Bailey sought to expand her aviation knowledge, obtaining her private pilot helicopter license in 2018.

    Her commitment to aviation did not stop there; she returned to flight school to achieve her instrument, commercial, and flight instructor certificates for fixed-wing aircraft. In 2021, Bailey founded Heading Aviation, driven by her enthusiasm to share her love for flying with others.

    Outside of flying and instructing, she values her time spent with family and friends, making a cherished balance between her professional and personal life.

  • AIRPORT FLUFF, TEAM MASCOT

    Piper, our beloved mascot, is a 25-pound bundle of joy who adds a unique touch to our flight instruction at Heading Aviation. Piper enjoys accompanying us on flights, where she comfortably settles in the backseat, occasionally glancing out the window to observe the world from above.

    Her friendly nature extends to our students, as she often greets them with affectionate kisses. Piper is well-aware of her boundaries and ensures that her interactions remain appropriate, making her a delightful companion during training sessions. With her presence, Piper enhances the flying experience, reminding everyone that aviation can be both exciting and comforting.
